Babies Are Here
The kids have arrived over the weekend. I have been kind of busy since then. They are healthy, allergy and loud.
Smart-assed comments to follow later.

Give that man a pair of cigars!! If I were with you in person I would slap you on the back and congradulate you heartily. I’m not the only one either.
There are very few things in this world like a young child. Their cuteness is overwhelming. They make me want to hug things. This probably sounds much more wrong than I intend.

YAY!!!
… although if I were a more religious person, I would probably be convinced that Armageddon is truly upon us. Quick, someone sacrifice a goat!

Congrats! You will never get a full nights sleep ever again. At least they’re healthy though.

Welcome to the world of twin-parenthood!! It’s an amazing and tiring journey. Mostly tiring.
October 26th, 2009 at 6:48 pm
Double congrats to you and Mrs. Skippy! (So if you’re Skippy, and your lovely bride is Mrs. Skippy, are the twins the Skippletts?)
October 26th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
What did you name them?
October 26th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
Congratulations!!! :)
October 26th, 2009 at 9:20 pm
Why?! This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for!
October 26th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
Skippy IIa and Skippy IIb?
October 26th, 2009 at 9:29 pm
Yeah! Now go to sleep while you can!
October 26th, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Congratulations!
October 26th, 2009 at 9:58 pm
Identical or fraternal?
(I married an identical, and his mom is a fraternal… so I’m curious.)

I know a guy that started naming his kids with the phonetic alphabet. Worked until the forth kid was a daughter. Able, Baker, Charlie, Doris.

Congradulations!
October 27th, 2009 at 5:31 am
Congratulations. I’ll send you some more stories soon, so that you can focus on your little ones.
October 27th, 2009 at 6:10 am
I’ve been using “the Skippettes” personally :)
What?? You mean y’all don’t regail stories from Skippy’s website to your retired RAF father? Pffft.
October 27th, 2009 at 8:26 am
Welcome to new parenthood.
It’s a lot like a hazing process, frankly. No sleep and the beginning of poop discussions.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:56 am
I don’t have a retired RAF father, but I do have loads of IRL friends who would really like it if I stopped reading them SL stories.

Ditto Lt. Ronald’s comment RE stories. I’m just having trouble thinking of something to write.
October 27th, 2009 at 12:32 pm
wow, talk about lack of imagination. Delilah, Danica, Denise, Danielle…
October 27th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Congratz Skippy!!!!!!
October 27th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
Yeah, but at least he broke from the phonetic alphabet. Before the NATO standard the next letter that American’s used would have been Dog. You don’t want to name your kid Dog, especially not a girl.
October 27th, 2009 at 2:02 pm
Best wishes, Skippy.
October 27th, 2009 at 2:50 pm
Thpppt to them.
Maybe we need to start a SL mutual support therapy group.. ;)
October 27th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
Hence the sacrifice. To show our devotion to our new lords and masters, and to raise a pleasing scent to them.
October 27th, 2009 at 5:56 pm
Don’t be silly. We don’t have a problem. We can stop at anytime.
October 27th, 2009 at 6:51 pm
I will stop when Skippy tells me to and not one moment sooner!
October 27th, 2009 at 8:55 pm
Congrats to the whole Skippy familly:)
Enjoy! (easy for me to say)
October 29th, 2009 at 10:22 pm
CONGRATS to you and the missus!
CAPTCHA – 21 rueful – You will be the latter, until the twins reach the former.
October 30th, 2009 at 2:48 am
Congratulations!
Let it be known that a couple of Skippies (the alcoholic drink) will be hoisted at the next meeting of POETS corner at the local pub.
Now, get some sleep.

Congrats times 2:)
