   @ Shift:

   I would make an exception in the case of the German language. Pretty much anything sung in German sounds like “I’m going to tear your balls off and feed them to my Rottweiler”.

   agreed Rammstien definatly don’t sound pansy-ish
   i dont know anyone else that sings in foreign language, other than rammstein all my foreign music they sing in english and that doesnt sound pansy-ish either, tho i may have deleted those ones…

    Read the translated lyrics, particularly for anything off of Herzeleid or Sehnsucht. A lot of those song lyrics could be done by Prince and no one would notice the disconnect.

    Theres also the remake of “Don’t Die Before I Do” off of their latest album Rosenrot.

    It’s still brutal, but Rammstein does have a softer side.

    Then theres the video for “Sonne” (I think thats the right one) where Snow White does heroin and does some light SM to the dwarfs.

    I admit, I could only watch a few seconds of the music video, it was just too silly once the band started singing.
