XKCD Sings
Somebody took this comic, apoplectic and turned it into a song.
And then made a video of it.

You realize this was a parody in the first place right? The Discovery channel up here (I don’t know if you guys have an equivalent, they show Mythbusters, and various nature/technology shows) started it off.

Actually, even the Discovery Channel song wasn’t the original. It’s taken from a Girl Scout campfire song that starts “I love the mountains / I love the rolling hills”.

Don’t care where it came from, it is awesome and xkcd rules.

…you realize the title of the comic it was based on is “xkcd Loves the Discovery Channel” right?

Hee, since somebody has to be not bitching in this comment section, I only vaguely remember the original song (my older sister was in the Girl Scouts. In the Boy Scouts, we got in front of the campfire to perform humorous sketches about lawnmowing, jumping out of airplanes, and occassionally played D&D.
Anyhow, the Discovery channel commercial gave me a warm fuzzy feeling, and the XKCD version is awesome as well.
*debates the questionable wisdom of making a Skippy version of the song*
“I love black magic…”
“I love the Barbie Dance!”
“I love blow-up sheep…”
“and bosses who smoke crack!”
“I love the Army…”
“And all its crazy troops…”
“Boom-di-yada Boom-di-yada Boom-di-yada Boom-di-yada!”
